CineMì
INTERNATIONAL CINECLUB IN MILAN
THE
PROJECT
Whether you are a casual filmgoer or a dedicated cinephile, if you love watching films and discussing cinema, you have come to the right place.
CineMì is an international cineclub that encourages conversation, cultural exchange, and connections between locals and internationals in Milan.
The concept is simple: we meet once a month to watch a film at the cinema, then head to a nearby bar for a relaxed group discussion. The conversation is in English and covers everything from the plot and characters to technical aspects like sound, editing, and screenplay.
Our cineclub meets at various cinemas across Milan, including Cinema Godard, Beltrade, and Anteo Palazzo del Cinema. We aim to watch films in their original language with Italian subtitles, giving us the opportunity to explore a variety of languages, cultures, and cinematic styles.
Looking ahead, we plan to offer a variety of cinema-related activities, including screenings in unexpected venues, Cine Aperitivo evenings, film-themed quizzes, and cinema walks to discover local spots featured in films.
We look forward to seeing you at the next CineMì event!

ABOUT
MÌ
Hi, I'm Hanna
I have been living in Milan for over two years now, though I am originally from France.
I absolutely love the city, its atmosphere, its museums, its vibe. But I feel it is missing a bit of a cinema culture.
That is why I decided to create CineMì, an international cineclub where people can connect through film and conversation.
I have plenty of ideas for the future, and I look forward to organising even more cinema-related events!
When I am not running CineMì, I work full-time for a film distribution company. I also enjoy exhibitions, mountain hikes, hot chocolates in winter, and spritz in summer.
I hope to see you all soon!
